Our revered Guruji has composed and published The Navadurga Sloka; A compilation of slokas authored by Him that contains 108Namavalis of each Goddess. He has also prescribed the manner of performing a simple Pooja (Laghu Pooja) during each day of Navaratri. The instructions for performing the pooja, slokas to be recited, flowers to be offered, the Naivedhyam (food offering for each Goddess) for each day of Navarthri have been set out in the following paragraphs & can be easily followed. This is a boon for obtaining the benevolent grace of The Divine Mother during this auspicious & festive season of Navaratri. The benefit of worshipping each Goddess is also given. The 9 slokas/ Namavalis prescribed here for each Goddess have been culled from the unabridged original 108 Namavalis for each Goddess. This is a transliteration/translation from the original in Tamil. The original Tamil booklet for distribution to devotees at The Kapaleeshwar Temple, Mylapore, Chennai, also appears at the foot of this piece.
